U3A Townsville acknowledges Stockland, Townsville Council & Gambling Community Benefit Fund for their ongoing support
U3A Townsville has recently been successful with its Community Benefit Fund Grant application 2024
The Community Benefit Fund Grant is for the value of $5,295 and will go towards the maintenance of our U3A Townsville website A double door locker, Filters for the Air purifier and a whole host of promotional items like Hats, Mugs, pens and T-shirts.
On behalf of all the members of U3A Townsville we thank the Community Benefit Fund for their generous Grant donation and assistance for the ongoing U3A Townsville aspirations to assist the Townsville and surrounding areas Seniors Community.

U3A Townsville recently was successful with another Grant application that was submitted to the Townsville City Council. The Grant application was approved and supported by the Townsville City Council Smart Grants team and the funding will go towards the production of the U3A Townsville Newsletters and various document materials used by our U3A Townsville classes. This includes printer toners, printer drums and various items that the Administration team uses on a daily basis so that the U3A Office can function with its tasks. The Grant funding value is exclusive of the GST amount so therefore U3A Townsville pays the GST portion of any expenses generated by these purchases. On behalf of all members of U3A Townsville we thank the Townsville City Council for their generous ongoing financial assistance.
U3A Townsville has recently been successful with the Mayors Community Assistance Grant application.
The Mayors Community Assistance Grant will enable us to replace 2 keyboards and various other computer equipment for our U3A Townsville office to overcome recent issues with some of the hardware

U3A Townsville has recently been successful with its Stockland CARE Grant application.
The Stockland CARE Grant is for the value of $1,000 and will go towards the ongoing running expenses for our U3A Townsville classes and our U3A Townsville Newsletter which is now produced, printed, collated and distributed inhouse by the U3A Townsville office volunteers.
This includes purchasing printer toners, A4 printing paper, print drum and postage of the Newsletters to those U3A Townsville members who don’t have website access.
