Notice for Drivers over 75 years - Medical Certificates to Drive

The Qld Dept of transport has made changes due to COVID- 19, and the need for senior Queenslanders to stay at home. Medical Certificates to drive that expired after 29th Jan 2020 will be considered valid until 6 months after the COVID-19 emergency ends. During the emergency period, drivers aged 75 or over will not be committing an offence if they are driving without holding a valid medical certificate.
