Indonesian Language and Culture

This group has been studying Indonesian together for a number of years. Besides learning about the culture, you will learn the language and also learn the use of grammar. Join us if you already have some understanding of the language and wish to refresh or advance your knowledge.
Anni was born in Indonesia and brings our attention to relevant culture, news and pronunciation.

An out-of-print text for basic grammar (Learn Indonesian Bk 2 - McGarry & Sumaryono),
Internet research, selected news items, our own stories and some conversation.
We also have access to 4 class sets of Learning Bahasa Indonesian high school books which were kindly donated to us by Townsville Grammar school.
What to Bring:

- An exercise book, an English/Indonesian dictionary (small is okay), and an open mind.
We have found that the internet is useful for extending vocabulary but not essential.
